Track Rat
An open-source GPS lap timer you build yourself. It works offline, with no app and no subscription.
This browser can't talk to the board over USB. Open this page in Chrome or Edge on a computer.
This page needs a secure (https) connection to install. Open it from its normal web address.
Installing erases the board's internal flash. Sessions and tracks saved there (a board with no SD card) are lost. The SD card is not touched. If you choose "erase" in the dialog, your settings are reset too.
What you need
- A Track Rat board (the LCDWiki ES3C28P).
- Chrome or Edge on a computer. Phones, Firefox and Safari can't do this.
- A USB-C cable that carries data. Some cables only charge.
Steps
- Plug the board into your computer.
- If the installer can't find it later, put the board in download mode: hold BOOT, tap RST, then let go of BOOT.
- Press Install, pick the board's port in the list and follow the dialog. It takes a minute or two.
- When it finishes, press RST if the screen stays dark.
